Big Brother poses were the only adult male poses used in the US. They all have shaggy hooves like Clydesdale horses, and their bodies are longer and broader than most female ponies, with thicker legs and larger heads. They are all earth ponies.
Sweetheart Sister poses are the slimmest adult ponies ever printed. They and have long, thin legs; slim bodies; short, narrow faces; and small eyes, ears, and noses. They are all earth ponies.
There are three Big Brother Pony poses, although one was released in two different sizes. The poses were used in three US sets: Year 5 Big Brother Ponies, Year 6 Big Brother Ponies, and Loving Family Ponies. They were also used in the UK Mountain Boy Ponies set, and for variations in various other countries. Three Baby Brother poses were printed as well.
Steamer Pose

The "Steamer Pose" was introduced in Year 5. This pose stands with all four feet flat and slightly spread. The head is turned slightly to the left.
This pose was used in Years 5 and 6 in the US, and in various years in other countries. A larger version of the Steamer Pose was used in Year 7 for the Loving Family set for two ponies: Daddy Sweet Celebrations and Daddy Bright Bouquet.
The "Quarterback Pose" was introduced in Year 5. This pose stands with all four feet flat. The head is tilted very slightly to the right.
This pose was used in Years 5, 6, and 7 in the US, and in various years in other countries and through special offers.

Tex Pose

The "Tex Pose" was introduced in Year 5. This pose stands with three feet flat and the right front leg bent. The head is tilted slightly to the right and bent down.
This pose was used in Years 5 and 6 in the US, and in various years in other countries.
There are three Sweetheart Sister poses, which were used for the three Sweetheart Sister sets in Years 7 and 8, and for the Pretty Pony, Sundazzle, and Sweet Kisses sets in Years 9 and 10. None of these poses were ever used for variations or non-US sets, and only one (Goldilocks) was available through mail-order.
Spring Song Pose

The "Spring Song Pose" was introduced in Year 7. This pose stands with all four hooves flat and facing slightly outward. The two right hooves are slightly extended forward, and the head is turned to the left. This pose was used from Year 7 through Year 10 in the US.
The "Dainty Pose" was introduced in Year 7. This pose is in a striding position, with the right front leg bent and extended, the left front leg curved back with the hoof flat, the right rear leg extended forward with the hoof flat, and the left rear leg extended behind with the hoof turned back. The head faces straight forward.
This pose was used from Year 7 through Year 10 in the US and through special offers.

Fancy Flower Pose

The "Fancy Flower Pose" was introduced in Year 7. This pose stands with the right front hoof flat, the left front hoof extended forward and slightly bent with the hoof flat, the right rear hoof leg extended back with the hoof flat, and the right rear hoof flat. The head is tilted very slightly to the right.
This pose was used from Year 7 through Year 10 in the US.
