The Party Gift Pack was the first collection of themed ponies sold together in one package. It was released in Year 4, between 1985 and 1986. The Party Pack included five ponies of different types -- a So Soft Pony, a Twinkle-Eyed Pony, a Beddy-Bye-Eye Baby Pony, a Flutter Pony, and a Pearly Baby Sea Pony -- all with birthday party-themed symbols. The set came with many different accessories (clock on any pony's name below to see the full accessory list).
The Party Pack re-released the following year, and an alternate version of the Party Pack was also sold in the UK with just one pony included, Tutti Frutti.
Party Time is an orange adult Twinkle-Eyed earth pony with iridescent, dark pink eyes. His hair is striped light pink, neon yellow, green, and blue. His symbol is five party hats; two are blue with pink designs, and three are pink with blue designs. He stands in the Gingerbread Pose. (Whether Party Time was intended to be a male pony or a female pony is uncertain: a number of male ponies were printed in the UK in Party Time's pose, but most US ponies in the same pose were female.) Party Time came with the Party Gift Pack, along with four other ponies and many accessories.
Best Wishes is a pink adult So Soft pegasus pony with yellow hair and blue eyes. Her symbol is three blue candles with yellow stripes and flames. She is in the Paradise Pose. Best Wishes came with the Party Gift Pack, along with four other ponies and many accessories.
Baby Frosting is a lime-green Beddy-Bye-Eye baby unicorn pony with white hair and lavender beddy-bye eyes. Her symbol is three white cakes with pink trim, white candles, and pink flames. She stands in the Beddy-Bye-Eye Unicorn Pose, and was the first unicorn pony to have hair of only one color. Baby Frosting came with the Party Gift Pack, along with four other ponies and many accessories, including a green and pink balloon that fits on her leg, a white star-print diaper, and a pink diaper box.
Yum Yum is a purple Flutter pony with yellow hair and yellow eyes. Her symbol is five dark pink wrapped candies with three yellow lines across each. She has a small wrapped candy on her right cheek. She is in the Rosedust Pose. Yum Yum came with the Party Gift Pack, along with four other ponies and many accessories, including a pair of iridescent Flutter Pony wings for her to wear.
Celebrate is a white Pearly Baby Sea Pony with lavender hair. She has aqua eyes and fin markings. She was the last US pony printed in the Backstroke Pose. Celebrate came with the Party Gift Pack, along with four other ponies and many accessories, including a purple and orange turtle float for her to sit in.
