The Playtime Baby Brother Ponies, printed in Year 7 (1988-1989), were the only full set of baby boy ponies ever sold in any country. Like the two baby boys from the Peek-a-Boo Baby Ponies set, all of the Playtime Baby Brothers have poseable heads and Clydesdale-type hooves, very similar to the Big Brother Ponies. Among the six ponies in this set, there are three different body poses, but only one head. Two of the bodies are the same ones that were used for the Peek-a-Boo boy ponies, but the head and the third body (in a striding pose) are exclusive to the Playtime Baby Brother set. Each pony came with a bandana, a dish, a spoon, a xylophone and hammer, a dog brush or racecar comb, and a ribbon.
Baby Paws is a dark green baby male earth pony with dark pink hair and blue eyes. His symbol is a black Scottish Terrier with a red scarf.

Baby Countdown is a dark pink baby male earth pony with dark blue hair and green eyes. His symbol is a white and blue rocketship with white smoke trailing behind, and two white stars. He stands in the Baby Countdown Pose, and has the Playtime Baby Brother head. Baby Countdown came with a pale green and dark pink xylophone, a xylophone hammer, a light blue dish dish, a yellow spoon, a blue and white bandana, a purple dog brush, and a ribbon.
Baby Racer is a yellow baby male earth pony with blue hair and blue eyes. His symbol is a red racecar with white windows and black and white wheels, and white smoke trailing behind.
