The Soda Sippin' Ponies were printed in Year 10, between 1991 and 1992. They were the fifth and last set of scented My Little Ponies, following the Sundae Best, Sweetberry, Candy Cane, and Perfume Puff ponies. They most closely resemble the Candy Cane Ponies, as they are ice-cream scented and have ice-cream themed symbols, and their hair is long and curled into ringlets. They are both in the Sugarberry Pose. Each Soda Sippin' Pony came with a large, scented plastic ice-cream soda with a hard, clear plastic straw made to fit into a hole in the pony's mouth. When the pony is squeezed, a row of little colored balls travels up and down the inside of the straw, creating the illusion that the pony is drinking the ice cream.
Strawberry Scoops is a purple adult earth pony with bright blue eyes. Her hair is striped dark pink, white, and blue. Her symbol is a blue and white cup full of pink and white ice cream, surrounded by strawberries. She is in the Sugarberry Pose. Strawberry Scoops came with a large, pink, strawberry-scented ice cream in a blue ice-cream cup.
Chocolate Delight is a pink adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is striped blue, light pink, and yellow. Her symbol is a tall purple and white ice-cream-soda cup full of brown and white ice cream, surrounded by chocolate kisses and sprinkles. She stands in the Sugarberry Pose. Chocolate Delight came with a chocolate-colored, chocolate-scented ice cream in a purple ice-cream cup.
