The Merry Go Round ponies were printed in Year 7, between 1988 and 1989. These ponies were made to look like carousel horses; they have colorful, flower-patterned saddle blankets, and matching tassels on their necks. They were printed in three poses which were all slightly-altered variations on poses from previous years (much like the new poses that were made for the Sundae Best and Princess Pony sets of Year 6). Each Merry Go Round pony came with a flower brush.
