Dance n' Prance Ponies

Dance n' Prance Ponies were introduced in Year 7, between 1988 and 1989. Each of these ponies has a flower-shaped knob on her chest, which, when turned, winds up a mechanism inside the pony. When the knob is released, the pony's tail spins. If a clip is attached to the tail, the weight of the spinning clip will cause the pony to "dance" in circles (it works best on a hard, flat surface).
All of the Dance n' Prance ponies were printed either in the Powder Pose or in a variation of the Powder Pose with no unicorn horn. They all have single-color hair, and they all have single-color symbols which match the the flower-shaped knobs on their chests and the heart-patterned rings around their tails. Each pony came with a brush or comb, a mesh ribbon, a fluffy boa, a bird barrette, a bow-shaped clip with a lock of hair and tinsel, and a pair of dangly two-color earrings.
