Pretty Mane Ponies

The Pretty Mane Ponies are unique for two reasons, the most striking of which is the coloring of their manes, which are striped horizontally, rather than vertically like all other US and Special Offer ponies. (Three family sets of ponies with horizontally-striped hair were later released in Europe). Their tails and forelocks, however, are solid-colored. The second strange feature of these ponies is the pose they were printed in, which is very similar to the Flutter Pony Lily Pose, except without holes for wings, and with Peach Blossom's larger head.
The Pretty Mane Ponies were available only through mail-order offer. They each came with a star brush.
